Sunrise Over the Plains

In our elevated position, some 400m or so above sea level, we're treated to superb views out over the plains, especially at sunrise.

You can probably make out Banks Peninsula on the far horizon. Not quite "I can see my (old) house from here" but close!

It's great to watch the colours progress as the sun breaks over the horizon. I think waking up to the light certainly has its benefits with views like these!
