Wrexham 3 Chester FC 0

IT is a weekend of derby matches throughout football. There is the Manchester derby, Newcastle v Sunderland, West Ham v Chelsea, Derby County v Nottingham Forest and of course Wrexham v Chester.

The only one of these games with stringent restrictions for away fans was Wrexham v Chester. For the third year running Blues fans had no option but to go down to the Deva Stadium to board coaches for a police escort to Wales. While I can understand the concerns it seems ridiculous that we should have to go through these measures for a much smaller attendance than will be at the Tyne-Wear derby.  

If that wasn't bad enough I had to watch them lose 3-0 and then go through the whole process in reverse. I've had better days.
