Waiting for Spring

None of the forecast showers eventuated today and very little wind so underfoot very wet and boggy from rain fall over past 36 hours.

Quiet day at home...other than slipping out for takeaway coffee. So nice to have a day at home after last weeks busy mornings. Caught up on hand washing, although not good drying weather, and sorting out the pile of mail, bills paid and other flotsam that gathers at an alarming rate in a pile on my work table.

Almost forgot to get a blip image so had to scout around the damp garden and found this seed head hanging on from autumn.
