Four eyes
I woke up to a lovely message from Mr A this morning; he also sent me a photo of the view from the villa he was staying in last night it's only £1000 per room, per night!!!!, it looks idyllic.
He (and the others he shared the villa with) were put there as the main hotel was full, but they are being moved into the main building today.
I had a good sleep but woke early, so decided at 8am that I may as well get up. Good job I did as 30 minutes later our neighbour came round to ask if he could borrow some tools. The fuses had blown in their house, the fuse box is in the garage and the garage doors are electric opening; with no access to the garage internally he was stumped!
When he returned the tools, he told me he'd had to remove floorboards in the room above the garage and squeeze himself through the gap. Ouch!
I kept myself busy by cleaning the house, doing 2 loads of washing and making bulk batches of spag bol and chicken curry for the freezer.
I called in to see Mum; we had a good natter before I dropped her off in town as she wanted to get some shopping.
I went to collect my glasses. So far, distance wise they are really clear. Reading though seems to be worse with them than without. I have a 30 day trial so the acid test will be on Monday when I try to work with them on. At least I know I can change them if I'm not happy.
I will need to take them back on Monday though as I've paid for the anti glare coating but it doesn't appear to be on them. I took a selfie to send to Mr A and I couldn't see my eyes due to the reflection from the window.
Hmmmmm. On this blip though it was ok.
You can't really tell from the photo but the frames are purple; I like them.
I'm officially four-eyed :-0
