Flying high

When the wind blows this flag on the Donkin reserve is a lovely sight and can be seen from far away.
The flag pole is 60 metres high - the tallest in S Africa, and the flag is evidently as large as a tennis court!
The lighthouse - the Donkin lighthouse was the original lighthouse in PE, built in 1861.
The Donkin memorial is a popular place for tourists as it has good views of the city and surrounds.
