Locks And Lunch

Today was Expedition Day! I love expeditions! We went to the lock system of Göta Kanal at Berg. We've been there before, but we like to walk along the canal, especially during off season, and today we brought picnic. Yay!

The water had been drained for winter, in order for them to do maintenance work on piers and bridges. The longest system is seven locks in a row, and with no water, mum got vertigo and wouldn't even walk across the see-through passage. We had a great walk on our side too, being quite alone, enjoying the bright sunshine. Halfway, we found a bench where we prepared our picnic. In the picture, it is cooking itself for eight minutes and I am Waiting! It was delicious once ready. I also had a conversation with a couple of mallards.

Thursday is Alice class. The entire lesson today was devoted to intense rally obedience. The Golden had a new collar and was, by comparison, docile and angelic. Me and mum were both exhausted going home.
