A shamrock for St Patrick

This oxalis was the closest I could find on Thursday to a shamrock for St Patrick's Day. I love the way the leaves fold up to pray at night.
This one was a gift from a friend whose husband grows splendid examples....they never look the same for me, but I've had this one almost ten years so it can obviously thole the living conditions here.
Playing back blip today as I've had a cold and just couldn't raise the energy to post the pictures I took. Better now I hope, or almost!
