Still dull an misty coming in from the East. Once cattle were fed left one mucking out and the other taking out silage bales to the sheep.
First stop Macmerry to get a new hydraulic hose made up to replace the one 'break it Bill ' ripped off the dung spreader yesterday.
2nd stop Haddington to get a puncture repaired and a new tyre and tube on another wheel. This took longer than planned as the fitter nicked the tube when he put the tyre back on the rim,so he had to start all over again with a new tube.
Home via McDonalds drive thru for lunch. Bad move. Every man and his dog had obviously decided that this is the thing to do at 1pm on a Friday.
Home in time to catch up on mixing feed and bedding cows. Another artic load of neeps arrived this afternoon-they look bigger than last weeks load,think they came from Cupar this time.
