My camera has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so I’ve been playing around with either un-cropped images or cropping to that size.  Just for fun.

The 4:3 ratio is the same as that favoured by the TV sets of my youth and there is something quite pleasing about it.

Ilford Pan-F 50 ASA (ISO) B&W film was another aspect of my youth.  This is what my editing software thinks that film looks like.  

My editing software has over 30 different B&W options.  Far too many.  From now on I’m going to (try and) stick to just two - Ilford Pan-F and Kodak Tri-X.  Like I did in the olden days.  Unless I fancy something in Sepia.  Although that’s a bit before my time.
