The Polka Dot & The Thorn, Aylesford

I managed to surpass myself today by taking my camera with me but forgetting to insert a battery (!), so I had to go back to my house, get it and then re-trace my steps for today's shot. I though I would experiment with a shallow depth of field which I think gives a dream like quality to this image.
I'm sure this was just a piece of discarded plastic caught in the brambles but I found it oddly beautiful.
Today's other picture is also of plastic caught in the brambles but this been shredded by many months of decay and strong winds.
