New Kids on the Block

Meet the family. I am acting as a surrogate mother to these girls. You have already been introduced to Alice on the left and Trixie on the right, but Cat and Fanny, the new kids on the block in the middle, will not be staying in the Dower House. They are being adopted by a couple in the west and will be living in the Briggait, Glasgow.

I blame Poppy in Orkney for starting this obsession with dolls by a bus pass holder (me) with obviously nothing better to do.
However it is rewarding to see that, despite knitting each doll in exactly the same way, they all end up with their own identities, just like human children.

On the computer front, by dint of locking the young geeky IT guru behind the Door for as long as it took yesterday, His Lordship's InDesign programme is up and running again. The expletives resounding round the Dower House have been transformed into a contented purring and all's right with the world again. We can now uncover our ears.
