Early, early morning.....

A cold breeze, cloudy sky with pockets of twinkling stars, the airport was buzzing in the early hours of this morning when I dropped E for her flight to Sydney. E arrived safe and sound.

Sydney had a terrible thunderstorm upsetting all travel. Christchurch Airport was chaos later this afternoon when hubby, A and I arrived for our flight to Sydney. Check-in was delayed, we waited, we were soon advised our flight was delayed by 11 hours but were told to stay as it wasn't all over yet. Unfortunately it wasn't long before we heard the words to go home and come back for check in at 3.45am tomorrow :( I'm tired and not looking forward to another early morning, here's hoping my next blip will be from Sydney.
