Transformation
As I suspected the praying mantis nymph that I blipped two days ago has emerged from her skin as a fully fledged adult. Her diaphanous wing cases and her ever so delicate wings were loosely open to air them. Dew clung to her and and it took hours for her to dry out. The light was poor so this shot is not very sharp. The jewel encrusted nymph skin is the extra shot.
By afternoon the wing cases were were less transparent. The green water dried on, but I guess that will be washed off before long. Note the left antennae that seemed to be missing in the previous shot. This time the right one is behind her.
