Back Blip from Akaroa...

It was another beautiful day in Akaroa and I got a lot done in the garden.

I was watching a film when I heard the doors rattling. First I thought someone was trying to get in.. but no, it was earthquake. That was the first earthquake I have felt in the house. It was a 4.6 just of the coast of Summer. Nothing else seem to move apart from the windows and doors.

The day before when I was emptying the scraps into the compost bin I noticed 100s of worms trying to get out when I opened it. I had heard that worms come to the top of the ground before a earthquake. I thought then I wonder if we would get one. The ground has been in a constant hum since our biggish one a few weeks ago..
