Mountain Dulcimer Man

The hands belong to one of the student's in our adult mountain class held regularly at our church.  I was there to show them a wooden dancing man who dances on a flexible board held under my thigh when I hold the stick attached to his back and music is played.  I also showed them and let them try sets of "spoons" that you play  on your hands or elsewhere on your body to the beat of the music.  I made the spoons sets after a trip to the Cajun country in Louisiana.  We had fun.  I had to give up my dulcimer lessons temporarily based on other commitments.  I'll photograph those items one day soon to post here.
