Day 77 of 366 - Nailcote Hall!

Today's picture was taken this afternoon on the outskirts of Berkswell. It is a view of the historic Nailcote Hall Hotel. It was originally built in 1640 as a small Stately Home. There have been various family's that have owned the property over the centuries. Probably the longest being the Lant family, who owned Nailcote Hall for over 300 years. There have been numerous alterations and restorations over the last couple of hundred years. Most notably a Georgian wing being added in 1780. The Hotel complex is now probably best known as the home of the British Par 3 Golf championship.

The photo was taken using the App ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.

First I used Snapseed to edit the image. I cropped and straightened the picture. I then used the spot healing function to edit the cars and flags out of the image. Then I used the selective edit feature to add more contrast and saturation to the sky. I also boosted the saturation, ambiance and warmth. Next I used the app Brushstroke to add the Oil 04 preset painting style. I also changed the colour palette to Heavy Vail and the canvas type to Vintage. Finally I used PhotoToaster add the Contrast preset, the Vibrant FX, a Small dark Vignette. Then I added the Charcoal frame.
