Leprechaun

He actually works in the meat department at Pacific Market, but he came over to the cheese to replenish the stock of Dubliner cheese next to the butcher counter. The picture I took doesen't give a sense of his leprechaun stature. He is probably about 5'4" and has the requisite twinkle in his eye. I got some Kerrigold Reserve cheddar and some soda bread to go with our corned beef and cabbage.

I don't think I have any Irish blood, but as Annie, the 'cheese lady' said, EVERYBODY is Irish on St. Patrick's Day!

So whatever color blood runs in your veins...Happy St. Patrick's Day! Eschew the green beer and go easy on the Guiness!
