Royal National Park.

Only a 30 minute drive south from the outskirts of Sydney is The Royal National Park. This view is typical of the two roads within and is the link from the Queen's Highway to Bundeena, a pretty little place with a ferry link to Cronulla.

Take a look at the area on Google Earth and see just how close the impenetrable woodland gets to the City of Sydney! A bush fire would be a fearful event.
