Take off!

We were up early and headed north on a flying visit to Katkatkat in Edinburgh.  The main purpose of which was to hear all about her holiday in Finland.

We stopped for our usual break at Annandale water.  Clickychick had her usual prowl with the camera looking for a blip.  I felt I had taken virtually everything worthy of note so opted to sit in the car and hope for a Sparrow coming near to scrounge for crumbs.

Instead of a Sparrow this female Blackbird paid a flying visit.  I got one or two of her perched but was pleased with this accidental shot as she took off.  I know it is too noisy and badly composed but I am pleased with it.
