Happy St Patrick's Day!

What a day!
My blip represents the start and finish of my day. I got up this morning and made an Irish Soda bread and a Dublin Coddle ready for tea tonight. Although Kevin's grandparents were Irish we don't have any links with Ireland now but after all it is St Patrick's Day and that's a good enough excuse to drink Guiness so why not have something traditional to go with it?
This afternoon Gemma and Thomas came along with her cousins Marie & Nicola and their daughters, Sophie, Ava & Hollie all the girls, big and little, are bridesmaids for Gemma.
They were here for a trying on session, the little ones went first and that went well, this was followed by a picnic tea for the little ones, while the big girls tried on their dresses, these need a few minor tweaks which I'll be doing but they look stunning!
Kevin and Martin were absolute stars holding an impromptu crèche keeping the little people amused, when all was done and the girls had left there was a huge tidy up.
I sent Gemma with two bowls of coddle and a Guiness for Ben, then we sat down to enjoy the fruits of my labour and if I say so myself it was delicious!!
