Ready to go!!!

The new doll is finished. She was planned for Annie, but I’m not sure how “robust” she is. I think she may have a permanent “bad hair” day if she gets lots of cuddles.
 
I think I may keep her and do a second one. I’m planning some modifications and clothes that are more girly and easy to put on and take off. Also a very different hair style. Annie’s birthday isn’t until October, so I’ve got plenty of time.
 

I went to the local U3A meeting this morning. The speaker was from the Samaritans, very interesting. I was already aware of Chad Varah, the founder of the charity, whose inspiration came from an incident when he was a young curate in the Diocese of Lincoln, but learned a great deal more.
