The Flasher In The Woods

I was awake at 4 a.m. today - I have yet another cold and couldn't sleep. Hope it doesn't drag on for 6 weeks like the last time. This time Mrs madwill is ill at the same time - so at least I won't have to move into the spare room to spare her my coughs and splutters!

As I was up we went out early for our walk and I thought I would try my hand at some outdoor flash photography as it was fairly gloomy - mixed results again. Clearly there is another aspect to shooting with some ambient light. I used my Canon flash in ETTL mode and got very poor exposures - which I was surprised at. So I switch to manual flash mode fro this shot - not very inspiring I am afraid.

Home for a nap, then out for lunch with some former work colleagues, then did the weeks big shop, then home for a nap, then sort blip out and probably back for a nap this.

Consequently I am way behind on blip reading and comments. Apologies if I haven't commented / starred - hopefully will catch tomorrow as I will be waiting in for a delivery
