Langres

Enjoyed a great day out at the nearby fishing port of Le Treport - seafood lunch, of course. Nothing nicer in the evening than a light snack. Light snacks during my cheese challenge year are cheese based!

This evening it was Langres, an AOC (1991) from the Champagne-Ardenne region of France. Looking at it, all wrinkly rind, I thought it was going to be quite strong. But it is very mild, with a crumbly, creamy interior.
