Load of air and load of bull
It's been a long day.
I heard on the drive into work this morning that Sylvia Anderson, the co-creator of Thunderbirds and supermarionation, had passed away. I remember her son Jamie coming to speak to us at Alzheimer's Society about how the family had coped with Gerry's dementia. I toyed with the idea of a Tracey blip but just couldn't find any suitable props - other than FAB1 in a toyshop in town -see extra.
One of the libraries that I look after closed it's doors for the last time this morning - the end of an era as I locked the door and dropped the shutters for the very last time.
Further visits this afternoon and then off to Sheffield for an Environmental Health Meeting about using drones for building and site inspections.
I aimed to be back home for 9 pm but, for the first time ever, the tyre pressure warning light appeared. It doesn't indicate which wheel was at fault so I had to stop at a garage and pump all four up. But the light didn't go out so I stopped at another garage and checked the tyres again but the light stayed on! I read the handbook when I arrived home and realised that the system needed a reset before the light extinguished. Sorted now.
I spotted this mini outside the station this afternoon. I dedicate the blip to George's budget speech.
