I watched the whales dip in and out of the sunshine speckled sea. Their movement yoga-sleek in the waves that matched their motion. A family of perhaps 20 or more, their world the water, the sky, the rocky shore, the sun and moon light that filter to the deep, the call of birds, the pull of the tides, and the wide horizon.

As I watched, I found myself envious!
