Bald Eagle Busy At Work

The rain finally broke today and I was able to spend an hour or so watching the bald eagles building their nest on West Union.  The eagle had to make two passes at the nest as he was too low on the first try...which often happens with these heavier sticks.  They just keep on flying and make another large circle to gain altitude and then try again.  Each stick they bring back is then woven into the existing structure...they often do this together.  Team work is vital.  The nest is starting to really take shape, and you can now see it as you drive by.
