Portishead

Today we cycled to this remarkable town which was and still is a port at the head of the River Avon. It was developed as a port with its harbour in Victorian times and declined following the closure of the local Power Station which use the port to import coal. It's the area around the harbour that has been developed with some lovely properties and over 400 berths have been provided for your yachts .....If you've got one.
Oh, and that's Mrs UE guarding our bikes with the Marina and new buildings behind.
