Wiser

Are there degrees of wiseness?
Isn't wise wise?
If one has been wise in a specific situation one was wise enough; being wiser would not have led to a better outcome.
I cannot be wiser than the next guy, nor can he be wiser than me, because my situation requires a different wiseness from what his situation requires.

I know "wiseness" isn't a word, but it's my blip and I can use my own words if I feel it wise.
