Before and after.

What a bad day I've had today. It started well enough, we all got up at the usual time and had our breakfast before Swannie left for work. About an hour later the doorbell rang, (we cats hate the doorbell and always run and hide) but of course nobody was in to answer the door, so imagine our surprise when it opened and a bloke came in. He didn't just open the door, he took it, and the door surround off and put them in his van!

He had just started to take the back door off too when Swannie arrived back for her break but intstead of shouting at him, she made him a cup of tea, can you believe that? She popped upstairs to check on us as we were all hiding in the bedroom, she thought I was missing altogether, but then she spotted me moving under the duvet.

She disappeared into Gala to go and get some extra keys cut then after checking we were all ok, she went back to work early as it was freezing in the house with the doors open. We all came out of hiding when she got home tonight and gave us our tea. The big cats have been going in and out the new cat flap but it is still open to any cat at the moment. Maybe at the weekend we will study the instructions and Swannie will set it to open just for us. The blip is of the green front door we had this morning and the new dark wood one we have now. Hopefully it will keep the heat in better now. Lots of love, JJ, xx
