Spit

A busy day. A new blog entry this morning - if you like holy wells (and who doesn't??) and have been missing IHWM then take a peek at this fascinating specimen. You might have seen it before for we visited it last year but I'm only recording it now.
Then I dug over two beds ready to put the spuds in. Traditionally they should go in on Paddy's Day which is tomorrow, so I might just make it. Then more bramble clearing. We're having the polytunnel covered so need to clear all around it beforehand and this is a good opportunity to tackle this very thorny area. Talking of thorns, I got one in my nose which looks very fetching.
A quick trip down to Trá na Crosaire which was looking very calm and transluscent. What you can't see though is all the rubbish - masses of plastic and fishing stuff swept ashore during recent gales. A beach clean is urgently needed.
