It's been a long day

It wasn't helped by our aged labrador getting me up three times in the night. She didn't really need to go out; she just woke disorientated.

A grey day meant that the garden was ignored in favour of a hundred household chores. So now I feel smug and deserving of this G&T with over-ripe lime fresh from the garden.
