Day one of two on refresher course

Rude alarm call first thing at 6.45am so I could be in Maidstone for 9am sharp to start day one of a two day on my first aid refresher course.

I was first to arrive of a small group of seven trainees. A mixed bag of professional 40 somethings sitting in a small baptist church hall.

Usual blurb with some small new updates. At least you don't have to faff around trying for a pulse anymore.

Assessed on resus, recovery position, primary survey & bandages. Trust me to get a 6ft 2 electrician as my patient for recovery. He was a big bloke quite hard to roll over! !

Test at the end with me getting top marks
