Bridge 109
I'm quite taken by the idea of blipping the bridges on the Shropshire Union canal. It can be very useful to have a subject matter when I am doing some voluntary driving as there are plenty within easy reach.
This is Bate's Mill bridge at Beeston by the Shady Oak. It is on the Chester Canal section which runs from Chester to Nantwich. The main line of the canal runs from Ellesmere Port to Wolverhampton.
An interesting fact I found out about the canal is that it was the last trunk narrow canal route to be built in England. It was not completed until 1835 and was the last major civil engineering accomplishment of Thomas Telford (from wikipedia)
