The mid-September sunflower competition approaches ever faster and these beauties will be our entries for this year. The first batch were dispatched by a huge think black slimy slug.

All we need now is a miraculous change in the weather, lots of fertiliser and these miniature Russian Giants will steal the show. OK we might just walk away with the smallest head prize...
