Ants for Kids

More teaching - today's lesson brought me all the way out to Brooklyn, where I told these 1st graders about ants. Really fun to do! Question of the day: Do ants fart? And you know, I posted it on Twitter and it actually sparked some discussion among ant-microbiome-scientists. So even though the kids were giggly about it - it was a valid question!
Also, it was such a beautiful day to be out, 23 degrees! Loved my little excursion out to Brooklyn in the sun :)
