The first Sell Out concert of 2012 at Scarborough Open Air Theatre is tonight, and it stars Olly Murs. (Never heard of him? Neither had I until the concert was announced).

The queueing system is frankly chaotic.

Fans and bemused tourists and daytrippers jostle each other fairly good naturedly on this quite narrow pavement.

When the queue reaches the sea it has to loop back, and take to the road.

So the people facing the camera in the lower shot are at this point walking away from the concert!

Still the sun was shining, and IT'S ST SWITHIN'S DAY.
