ORCHID

To Ross Priory today with VSP to play in the woods. I am delighted to say VSP enjoys this as much as I do. Lunch at the Pottery in Drymen and home to help Granny water the greenhouse and tie up the plants against the wind. Then Duplo fun with Granda before going to the park to practice cycling. He is now going on his own on his two wheeler pedal bike although still wants the security of me running alongside - Whew!

Not sure which orchid this is - having VSP in tow is not conducive to the finer points of plant identification. I love the gardens at Ross Priory - there are some formal bits, but mostly it is a carefully managed wilderness with lots of wild flowers and unusual trees.
