Gylly beach

Sun! Actual sunshine! For (just) longer than 20 minutes at a time!

Had an ace day with Fred, went for breakfast and coffee out, and then sat on the beach for the majority of the day, meeting up with Emma for a while. Went back to Emma's house for a bit - what a lush house! Puts Edinburgh to shame for homely-ness, very nice to have a whole house.

After dinner went for a bike ride, but by that time the mizzle was coming down fast. This made the tarmac incredibly slippy, and my front wheel slipped out while I was turning, and I've got a couple of patches of road rash to prove the point. Needless to say, the others thought it was pretty funny.

Got about 4 miles before the looming dark turned us homewards.
