Nuts!

What a week in the C household! Bex and her prang on Sunday (the insurance people seem to think it is all looking in her favour at the moment, fingers crossed). Then driving home from the gym this evening my tyre burst. I was on a busy A3 and pulled off at the nearest exit straight into a petrol station and 2 policeman pulled in behind me (I now seem to think they had been following me but I wasn't aware!). They tried to put my spare tyre on but the wheel had become so hot and had expanded, they couldn't get it off. So I waited patiently for Mr C (who stays at the gym a lot longer than me) and by the time he arrived the wheel had cooled down and he changed the wheel....... But not before losing one of the nuts down the drain!! :-/

In other news, Lucy also had her own excitement. Every week she visits a lady for a chat but today when Lucy got there she told Lucy they had been broken in to and her husbands car had been stolen and about half hour before Lucy got there they had come back and stolen the lady's car too! When she left, Lucy decided to drive up to a local beauty spot to enjoy the views and on route happened to see her friends car being driven. She contacted the police and was giving a running commentary as she followed them awaiting for the police to get there. They eventually realised Lucy was following them and pulled into a car park just as the police arrived.... Sadly they ran off and didn't get caught. Lucy was praised for her commentary but she was quite shaky afterwards.

Let's hope the rest of the week is peaceful.
