Last day

We were up and out early today, and the slopes were almost empty for a while. We stopped for coffee and then for lunch but in between we put in several miles. The snow was great, but five days solid skiing, even short days, are our absolute limit. It's the old knees that can't take it you know!
Next time we have decided to drive on a Sunday, then ski four days and drive home on the Friday, that way we don't have to ski with the weekend hoards, and doing just four days is really enough.
Anyway we've had a lovely week and are heading home early tomorrow in time to pick the dogs up before the kennels close at 6pm. I've come down with a dreadful cold today so am glad to be going home now really.
