St Swithin's Day, according to the proverb:

St Swithun's day if thou dost rain

For forty days it will remain

St Swithun's day if thou be fair

For forty days 'twill rain nae mare.

Well it didn't rain!

I decided we ought to have a barbecue, so here is my sister in law "sunbathing" while I finish of the food (Please note it was THAT warm, she was still in jeans and a sweatshirt!).

I'm not sure the proverb is going to come true this year.
