Childhood Memories

A cloudy start clearing to sunny skies but a cold wind.

Tiresome Tuesday for me - cleaning and shopping!

I found these 'Tommy Spinners' in the park last week and collected a few.   They are larger than the ones we used to send spinning as children.   It brought back memories as we spun them in the park for a few minutes!   We used to look for the double ones.

I guess the children now don't do that anymore, or do they?

Simple pleasures in those days.

I am currently waiting for some dried fruit mixture to cool down before adding flour etc to make a cake for Alan's birthday on Thursday - St Patrick's 
Day!   An easy cake to make - hopefully will have time to put a dob of icing on and some candles!
