On the way (tracks) to Hamburg
This morning we reserved our seats to the train to Hamburg. The train drove into a ferry at Rödby in Southern Denmark. The passengers were not allowed to stay in the train during the crossing of the sea which took about 45 minutes. We hanged around at the deck of the ferry and socialized with one Mexican and two Swedish Interrailers who sat next to us in the train. In Puttgaarden, Germany the ferry came to a harbour and the train continued it's journey in a more conventional way.
The train trip took over 5 hours. In the evening we visited the botanical garden. Our hostel was nice. Actually it was a hotel, except for the price. And within a short metro drive from the city centre.
