Emergency blip

Posting early and hurriedly today cos bestie Gill is due to arrive shortly to stay the night, then we're off on an overnight trip tomorrow, so I shouldn't think there'll be much any commenting done for a day or two.

No, this red rose is not left over from Valentine's Day. D#1 and I were presented with one each as we left Usha's on Saturday. I thought it was a lovely gesture, but cynical K reckoned they just wanted us to give them a good review.

I know Gill hasn't been watching Happy Valley, so I shall record the final episode tonight and watch it when I'm back. The second series has been as brilliant as the first, but it's whizzed by too quickly.
