Seen Better Days
Have often seen this boat marooned in the little harbour at Abersoch and have often taken a photograph intending to blip it. I've seen it on here, well blipped earlier this year by maisiebeth. Since then someone has tethered it for safety.
Somehow for me, it never made the final cut, probably because l'm a sucker for sea and sky photographs and l always have an abundance of those while l'm here.
Packing up now to come home but not before l nipped into town and the harbour for a last few photographs. Was cloudy here first thing but the sun soon came out making it all the harder to leave. So my little favourite boat is my entry for this week's Derelict Sunday.
We are going home on the southern side of the peninsula, much my favourite route even though it does take longer.
Having three tons of topsoil delivered tomorrow plus a dozen large bags of compost. We've made the decision to give up the allotment but not giving up growing some of our own fruit and veg. We brought some of the raised beds back to our garden last week. Tomorrow they will need to be filled. The soil will be dropped at the front of our house. Mr P has a full day ahead wheeling numerous barrow loads to the back garden.
Good job we've had a bit of a rest while here!
