The Merry Monarch

I've decided that I abhor, hate, strongly dislike, weakly dislike, am not that fond of butterflies. Sure, they're beautiful and a wonder of nature, but...but...they flit and they flutter, and they tease you. THEY TEASE YOU!

You think they're going to land...then they don't. Then, they land and you try to focus...and they fly off. STAY ON THE FLOWER! STAY STILL!

All that being said...I took MANY pictures of them today. Adding to my frustration was...the day was real windy, so...when they did land...the wind was blowing the lightweights around.

I saw them on the grounds of the Ringling Estate.
