Mother Nature is a Seamstress

Whoever would have thought she'd be so handy with fabric and yarn, stitching together her tiny works of art.  This flower (which I haven't identified, yet) looks for all the world like it is sewn together!  Well, to my eye, it does, anyway!  I'd like a quilt of these.
