Enjoying olallieberry pie and a cup of coffee with my friend, Marisa at Sweet Elena's.

Just found out that the delicious olallieberry is genetically 2/3 blackberry and 1/3 European red raspberry. It's primarily grown in California. I've never seen them sold in the market. Only in pies and jams.

My mission will be to suss out a small basket and make my own pie. Or muffins. On the hunt.
