Golden plover at the Loch of the Graand
I went over to Egilsay again to volunteer for the RSPB. I was doing a wetland birds survey (WEBS) in two parts of the island- the south including the loch and shore, and the north-east of the island including Manse Loch. So mainly ducks- wigeon, teal, goldeneye etc. I was sitting having coffee when this flock of plover flew in. More here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/octobermoth/
