Kellaways (Sunday 13th March 2016)

More wild daffodils, I'm afraid. These were growing in front of the Maud Heath monument beside the River Avon at Kellaways. The monument has been nicely spruced up (see the Extra for its West facing sundial) since I last photographed it.

Judee Sill - The Kiss (1973)
From her second and last album Heartfood. Judee Sill is still best known for her debut single Jesus Was A Cross Maker but there is so much more to be discovered. I was pleased to be reminded of this and to hear it in the car when Guy Garvey played it on Six this afternoon. She had a somewhat tragic life and died prematurely in 1979 when aged 35.
